The Marshfield Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the City of Marshfield on the new Community Square. The Community Square project stems from years of planning and requests related to improving the pedestrian experience in Downtown Marshfield. Working in partnership, Marshfield Economic Development Board and Main Street Marshfield have identified this project as a key redevelopment project to further advance revitalization efforts within Downtown. Once developed, the programing of the space will help to attract swarms of individuals to the downtown to take part in various events and activities to be held at the Square, which in turn will result in more individuals patronizing existing and future downtown businesses. The location provides a central location for pedestrian activities to take place within the downtown and community. Future plans will allow the space to connect to Steve J. Miller Park through future redevelopment of the W. 2nd Street area.
Carla Cole Stebbins established the Cole Family Music Fund to honor her family's contribution to the music within the Marshfield community. The fund was established to support music programs and musical organizations within the Marshfield area.
